Race Across America with KHS

Congratulations to Leah Goldstein on her 2nd place finish in her category at the Race Across America (RAAM). She finished the 3,000 mile race, starting in Oceanside, California and finishing at City Dock in Annapolis, Maryland in 10 days 19 hours 28 minutes.

“RAAM is one of the most respected and longest running ultra-endurance events in the world. RAAM is seen as a pinnacle of athletic achievement not only in cycling circles but the greater sporting community as well.

RAAM is about 30% longer than the Tour de France. Moreover, racers must complete the distance in roughly half the time, with no rest days. Racers must cycle 3000 miles, across 12 states, and climb over 170,000 vertical feet.”
