Welcome Westynn

KHS Pro MTB rider Westynn Iverson

I’m Westynn Iverson, a 20-year-old free ride mountain biker from the hills of Utah, and I’m stoked to announce I’ll be riding once again for KHS Bikes in the 2025 season and I couldn’t be more stoked! I’ve always had a passion for shredding on two wheels. My journey has been all about learning, growing, and pushing my limits, and with this partnership, I can’t wait to take my riding to the next level.

After a tough season dealing with a broken collarbone, it’s been a grind getting back to where I want to be, but I’m more fired up than ever. The road to recovery taught me a lot, not just about my body but about the bigger picture of the sport. I’m super pumped about the future, both for me and for the mountain bike industry as a whole. There’s so much progress happening right now, and I can’t wait to be part of that evolution. Utah’s trails are my home, and I’m looking forward to taking on new challenges, learning more, and showing what’s possible when you don’t give up!

Beyond just the riding, I’m all about pushing boundaries and inspiring others to chase their passion, no matter what setbacks they face. Growing up in Utah, I’ve always had access to some of the best terrain out there, and it’s shaped who I am as a rider. Whether it’s hitting big lines, trying new tricks, or just having fun with friends, I’m always looking for ways to improve and share that stoke. With KHS Bikes behind me, I’m more motivated than ever to bring my best to the trails, help elevate the sport, and encourage anyone who’s out there working hard to achieve their goals. The 2025 season is going to be a huge year, and I’m ready to make it count!

North American Enduro & Rampage Prep

KHS Pro MTB team rider Shane Leslie at in Kellogg Idaho for the North American Enduro Cup.

This past Holiday weekend was the North American Enduro Cup hosted in Kellogg, Idaho. This event is a one of the EWS ranked venues, hosting the most elite athletes from North America. The terrain and stages it holds are some of the most superb mountain biking has to offer in the north west. The racers from all around North America would only have Friday to hone in their skills and get a grasp for the seven grueling stages ahead, which would be hosted Saturday and Sunday.

It would be our Pro Enduro athlete Shane Leslie, who would be just coming off a practice injury with still some inflammation in his chest, but good enough to give it to go. Shane would have some work cut out for himself with all the top North American athletes racing this weekend. He would put all his effort into seven stages and over 6000ft of climbing he would come out in 11th Pl. He was still under the weather from his practice injury, and definitely is wanting to get on that podium . Shane and the rest of the team will have a week break until they head off to the Big Mountain Enduro series that will be hosted in Durango, Colorado for the third round!

I am super stoked to be representing KHS Bicycles this year!!  I am super grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to continue with them during this year! It has been a dream of mine to ride bikes professionally and KHS has made that dream come true! I am 18 years old and I have been riding bikes for about 5 years now and have loved every bit of it. I currently live on a farm and ranch in hurricane UT about 15 minutes from the red bull rampage sites where I spend most of my time riding bikes. Going into the 2023 season I am focusing on getting some sweet video projects out and am going to be putting in a lot of work to be able to get to proving grounds and red bull rampage!
